There are numerous poker tools available online and Poker Edge is one of them. Currently banned from being used at Party Poker and Poker Stars, Poker Edge is a database of poker player statistics collected from over 100 online poker sites. Poker Edge overlays on the supported site you are playing poker on and Poker Edge’s Heads Up Display – or HUD – offers you information on every player at the table. You can choose which statistics Poker Edge displays and it offers you icons over each player that indicates what type of player they are.
Poker Edge uses an automatic game search feature that tells you which games are the best for your level of play at each poker website that you play in. Poker Edge is currently supported at Full Tilt Poker, Bodog, Ultimate Bet, Mansion Poker, Pacific Poker, Prima Network, and Titan Poker. Poker Edge helps you: learn how your opponents play in different situations; gives you information on your opponent’s recent showdowns; tells you who are fish and who are sharks; data mines information; allows you to filter stats; hide your stats from others; and provides access to stats that other programs do not.
Poker Edge only supports play at four tables at a time as well as Texas Hold’Em cash games and tournaments only. Poker Edge currently offers a basic membership for the low stacks player at $9.95 a month and a gold membership for those players who wish to enter ring and tournaments games with live stats available, especially if you like to play high stakes poker games. Poker Edge has a good customer support staff that fixes glitches and bugs quickly and efficiently and they are currently working on a software tutorial for users that will be available in the coming months.
